Robin Blake has directed SUDS, The Rocking 60’s Soap Opera, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Steel Magnolias, a one act from Neil Simon’s London Suite entitled Going Home, and the musical Mary Poppins for the Lancaster Players.
She has also directed numerous plays for Lancaster High and Lancaster Middle School for the past 30 years, including Toy Story, Lion King, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Little Women, Grease, Jungle Book, Little Shop of Horrors, and most recently The Little Mermaid. She has also acted in several plays at The Lancaster Playhouse as well as the Center for the Arts.
Robin serves on the Board of Directors of The Lancaster Players and the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts. She currently teaches at Chesapeake Academy and formerly taught math and science at Lancaster Middle School. Blake has been the drama coach for the gifted students as well as any other students who have “the calling” to be on stage! She has a master’s degree in gifted education.
