November 4- 13, 2022

A Season of Intrigue: The Election of 1880 is about liberty, governing, friendship, sacrifice, and debate. It highlights the 1800 presidential campaign characterized by slanderous, personal attacks behind the scenes and in the press. This original work by Mark Favazza features direct quotes from
historical sources that bring to life the infighting between two old friends, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson. They and Adams’s wife, Abigail, had all been very close at one time, until politics had intervened.

The story follows our hero on a whirlwind journey through England and Scotland as he tries to help a counter-espionage agent by stopping a spy ring from stealing top-secret information.
