Continuing a four-decade tradition of entertaining audiences
in Virginia's Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

The Lancaster Players is a volunteer-run non-profit organization dedicated to providing Community Theater with local talent and creating opportunities for adults and children to learn all aspects of theater.

"An Evening with Two Fabulous Old Broads in Three Acts" will feature Rebecca Tebbs Nunn as her alter ego Modine Gunch in an hilarious monologue, followed by Donna Smith in her reprise of the critically acclaimed "Thirteen Things About Ed Carpolotti." Act II features a Patsy Cline number and an anonymously written play entitled "Footprints" in which two residents of the Sunshine Trailer Park in Silver Springs, Florida, talk about their late husbands, barefooting, footprints, flea markets, spaceships, Cher, and colonies on the moon. Act III is "Save me a Place at Forest Lawn" by Lorees Yerby and deals with two elderly ladies, Gertrude and Clara, friends for over forty years, who meet for their weekly luncheon at their favorite cafeteria. Plans for the hereafter come up as do startling revelations of the here and now. Tragicomedy at its finest. This entertaining evening featuring two well-known actresses is not to be missed!
